Due to work related reason, my husband and I found ourselves in an unfortunate situation this past summer - our two dogs (a Chocolate Lab and a Chesapeake Bay Retriever) were being left unattended for many hours a day. I wondered what we could do to properly take care of them. I happened to notice an advertisement for Martha Trotts in the newspaper and cut it out. I gave her a call and it has been a wonderful experience!

Brenda came to our house to meet our dogs, and they instantly took to her. It was immediately clear that her vast experience working with all types of animals, through Aspen Valley Wildlife Sanctuary, was a valuable asset. I was particularly impressed that she took the time to collect information about our dogs (including veterinarian information "just in case"). Brenda presents as very organized, trustworthy and professional. She also demonstrates a genuine caring disposition.

Since June of 2007, Brenda has been walking our dogs on a fairly regular basis and has also provided dog-sitting services when we were out of town for an extended period of time. Brenda has been particularly helpful when my husband is out of town and I am working a night shift: she will walk them very late in the evening so they're not alone and confined to the house for 12 to 14 hour periods. Brenda has also helped us escape some emergency situations unscathed! When we have been forced to arrange care at the last minute, Brenda has always come through.

A true testament of Brenda's concern for our pets includes her request that we contact her as soon as we return home so that she is aware that the dogs are looked after. Her concern and kindness for our dogs have given us great peace of mind; we know that they are well taken care of when we are unable to be there ourselves. For people who treasure their dogs, Brenda is an extraordinary find!
